Smart measurement – Reading meter values remotely

The MR4 allows for remote reading of meters with a pulse output and also transmits the status of potential-free contacts. Each channel can be configured separately as a counter or as a binary status of the corresponding input.

The measurement data is regularly transmitted via long-range communication with LoRaWAN technology. The configuration can be performed both remotely and locally using the ATIM Cloud Wireless® configurator.

In combination with the IoT web platforms, available for computer and mobile devices, measurement data can easily be visualised, sensor parameters can be adjusted remotely and alerts can be set based on pre-defined thresholds.

ATIM ACW products are also compatible with most other IoT platforms on the market.

The ACW-MR4 is often used in cities, industrial environments and smart buildings and is suitable for a variety of applications, such as:

• Monitoring meter readings of different meters
• Monitoring water- or electricity consumption for energy saving
• Intrusion detection: detecting whether a door at a remote location is opened or closed, for example at a power station or water treatment facility
• The opening and closing of doors in industrial environments connected to the network, for example at loading docks and warehouses
