Job vacancy: IoT Solutions Engineer
Yves Neirynck

Contribute to smart energy and IoT projects

We are a specialised technical company with a small but strong team. From our expertise, we realise projects around energy management, IoT and industrial communication for professional clients.

Due to our growth, we are looking for an IoT Solutions Engineer who technically supports projects from the first customer contact to delivery. You work closely with the CTO, but at the same time, you have the space to build independence and eventually take on your own projects.

This is a role for someone who likes to take responsibility, shows initiative, and gains energy from a combination of technology, customer contact, and problem-solving.

What are you going to do?

Your role is intentionally versatile. As a small company, we do not believe in strict boxes, but in people who like to think along and take initiative.

You support our projects throughout the entire lifecycle:

Technical customer contact

  • Supporting the sales process from a technical perspective.
  • Analysing customer needs and helping to develop technical solutions.
  • Conducting technical discussions with customers, integrators, and installers.
  • Providing after-sales support for completed projects.

  • Testing and validating systems.

Project responsibility

Initially, you will work closely with the CTO. As you gain experience, you will take on the responsibility of managing simpler projects independently. In the longer term, more complex projects may also be part of your responsibilities, depending on your ambition and interests.

What technologies do you come into contact with?

Our projects are at the intersection of hardware, software, and communication.

Including:

  • Energy management and energy monitoring
  • Water, gas, and consumption measurements
  • Temperature, CO₂, and presence monitoring
  • Industrial communication
  • IoT platforms
  • Data collection and visualisation
  • Track & Trace solutions
  • Connected sensors and gateways

You do not need to be an expert in everything, but interest in these areas is essential.

Who are we looking for?

We are not specifically looking for the candidate with the longest CV, but rather for someone who can work independently, takes initiative, and enjoys tackling technical challenges.
